About Us

Hello and welcome! We’re so glad you’re here.

If you’ve found your way here, you probably work hard taking care of others, building relationships, family, a career. You’re a giver.

But wait, isn’t it time you did something just for you?

At this point in life, you’re asking yourself some big questions. Things like: Why am I so stressed all the time? What do I really want? How can I make the most of my remaining time on this planet and do the most good? And finally, isn’t there some way to make parking a little bit easier at Trader Joe’s?

Unfortunately, we can’t answer any of these questions. Except maybe the parking one.

But we do know this: If you want to continue to achieve more in your life, you have to take care of yourself. This goes way beyond getting a mani-pedi or “putting on your own oxygen mask first.” Although, uhmm, yes to both.

But first, meditation. We know, from our own experiences and from the people we have taught, that learning Vedic meditation is a game-changer.

Our mission as teachers is to help people integrate this potent yet simple practice into their lives. We’re here to help you let go of stress and live your life authentically, consciously, and fully.

And now, just a little bit about us.

Meet Trudi

There are many ways I can describe myself: I’m a professional ghostwriter and content marketer (TruStory), parent of two adult kids and a rescue dog, partner, daughter, caregiver… the list goes on.

And that’s precisely the point: we all wear many different hats. The complexities of modern life mean we live by labels, with expectations of how things “should” be — and plenty of anxiety when reality doesn’t match ideals. (Spoiler alert: it never does.)

It took me half a century to discover self-transcending meditation. While I came for the promise of effortlessness with no possible way to screw it up, I stayed for the revelation that you aren’t your thoughts or feelings. In 2018, I traveled to Rishikesh, India to study the wisdom of the Vedas with my teacher, Jeff Kober, and experienced a profound stress release (which you can read about here.) That was all I needed to say yes when Jeff offered a two-year teacher training course, which I completed in November 2020, amid the pandemic — ready to be of service.

So please don’t be shy: step right up, and let me help you find your bliss.

Meet Diana

When I learned Vedic meditation in 2008, I discovered a practice that quickly became an integral part of my life. Despite never being able to stick to a routine, I was able to sit down and meditate twice each day, not only because it was easy, but also because the positive effects were immediate. I felt more grounded, calm and clear.

During the next 10 years, my practice centered me as my career in digital media accelerated. When my parents became ill, meditation softened the edges of my cross-country commute as a long-distance caregiver. And when I left the corporate world to start my own editorial consulting business, it fueled me as I moved forward.

I continued my Vedic training throughout, taking advanced courses with my teacher Jeff Kober, who has taught Vedic meditation to thousands of people. In 2018, I completed his 2-year teacher training program. And most recently, I added another branch of the Vedas to my toolkit, by completing a 15-month Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor program at Madhya Way School for Ayurveda.

It’s so fulfilling to bring these ancient wisdom traditions to others and see the powerful and life-changing effects.

We Believe:

01.

Everyone can meditate.
If you think you can’t, it’s because your ego is telling you a story to keep you small and “safe.” Transcend that limiting belief, and you’ll see just how easy and effortless it is to connect with true bliss.

02.

Laughter is the highest state.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said that, and he had the best giggle EVER. Live, love, laugh isn’t just a coffee mug expression — it’s a way of life.

03.

Happiness lies within.
Think about all the people who seem to have all the material things in the world, and ask yourself if they seem happy. Real wealth is knowing all you need is inside of you.

04.

Everything is a science experiment.
When we encounter new things in life, be curious! Just try it out and see how it fits. This applies to meditation, foods you’ve never eaten, and roads you’ve never traveled. And meditating, of course.

05.

Compassion begins with yourself.
It sounds like a cliche, but it’s true. You can’t embody compassion for others unless you have it for yourself. Self-compassion allows us to live with less resistance toward ourselves and our lives.

06.

You deserve the best. (Just like Guru Deva says)
You deserve the best. Never feel unworthy or not justified in having the best. I tell you, this is your heritage, but you have to accept it. You have to expect it. You have to claim it...”

07.

Reminding yourself daily that you're going to die makes life richer.
Living purposefully and dying fearlessly is a spiritual practice. As our teacher, Jeff Kober, says, “100 years, all new people.” Words to live by.

08.

Every dog needs a theme song.
Have you ever noticed that “dog” is “God” spelled backward? As we Vedic meditators say, there are no coincidences. Raise your voice to praise your pooch, and you’ll see how it uplifts your life.

Don’t hesitate to meditate.
Enjoy your Self.
